Pleas entered on Thursday

The following pleas were entered during arraignment and change of plea proceedings on Friday before Judge Gregory Hammond at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Emmett G. Confer, Warren, to simple assault. Charges of simple assault and two counts of harassment were not prosecuted.

¯ Elise M. Dunn, Clarendon, to possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI: Controlled substance/Schedule I — first offense. Charges of DUI: Controlled substance/impaired ability — first offense and no rear lights were not prosecuted.

¯ Michael V. Knapp, Irvine, to simple assault.

¯ Michael B. Salsgiver, Tidioute, to DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving — first offense and careless driving. Charges of DUI: High rate of alcohol — first offense and disregard traffic lane were not prosecuted.

¯ Michael F. Toter, North Warren, to DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving — first offense. Charges of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving — first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol — first offense and careless driving were not prosecuted.

The following defendants entered not guilty pleas:

¯ Michael R. Battko, Sugar Grove. Battko has been charged with criminal attempt — burglary, criminal trespass – break into structure, criminal mischief — damage property, conspiracy (burglary), conspiracy (criminal trespass) and conspiracy (criminal mischief).

¯ Mark A. Kingsley, Warren. Kingsley has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana – small amount personal use, possession of drug paraphernalia and trademark counterfeiting.

¯ Jeremy Ross, Bear Lake. Ross has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of children.

¯ Daniel R. Vanguilder, Corry. Vanguilder has been charged with resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia.
