Pleas entered at preliminary hearings

Three guilty pleas were entered and charges were withdrawn against two during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Jonna M. Arnold, Sheffield, to furnishing drug free urine — use or attempt.

¯ Karl N. Hawk, Warren, to theft by unlawful taking and disorderly conduct. Charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and fleeing or attempting to elude police officer were withdrawn. At a second docket, a count of possession/sale/use of display document was withdrawn while charges of fraudulent use/removal of registration plate and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection were re-categorized as traffic offenses.

¯ Luther D. Wenzel, Youngsville, to possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges of driving without a license and no rear lights were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against Adriene Albaugh, Clarendon. Albaugh had been charged with theft by deception — false impression and conspiracy (theft by deception — false impression) A count of retail theft was recategorized as a non-traffic offense.
