Pleas entered at preliminary hearings

Five guilty pleas were entered and charges were withdrawn against two during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Christopher M. Andrews, Warren, to marijuana — small amount personal use. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and turning movements and required signals was withdrawn.

¯ Rose M. Dawson, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance. Charges of marijuana — small amount personal use and possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

¯ Kevin A. Findley, Jr., Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Allison J. Howe, Russell, to possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ David S. Williams, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privilege suspended/revoked. Charges of driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following individuals:

¯ Troy A. Hyman, Warren. Hyman had been charged with possession/sale/use display documents. A count of operating a vehicle without a valid inspection was re-categorized as a traffic offense.

¯ Kenneth A. Sliker, Corry. Sliker had been charged with materially false written statement — purchase, delivery, transfer or firearm and statement under penalty. A count of disorderly conduct — engage in fighting was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
