Farmington Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that Brian Billquist, 27, Warren, has been charged with taking numerous items and money from a total of six victims at Eisenhower High School between March 26 and April 4. Police said charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Miller Hill Rd at the intersection with Rt. 957 on April 14 at 7:20 a.m. A 2004 Nissan Frontier, driven by Kurtis M. Kehr, was traveling north on Miller Hill Rd. while a 2014 GMC Acadia, driven by Ashley M. Church, 27, Russell, was traveling west on Rt. 957. Police said that Kehr failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign and pulled into Church’s path of travel, striking her vehicle on the front driver’s side. After impact, Kehr swerved onto a lawn and back on to the road before stopping on a driveway on Miller Hill Rd. No injuries were reported butt Kehr was cited for stop signs and yield signs.

Pine Grove Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that sometime between April 12 and April 13 someone entered the North Auto Crushers building on Northstead Lane in Russell and stole Cherry Cigars and an undetermined amount of cash belonging to a known female, Russell.

Sheffield Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on April 12 at 6:49 p.m. that Matthew Baker, 35, went to a Pickering St. residence and made threatening statements towards that resident.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on April 12 at 10:28 p.m. Justin Daniel Kohnen, 30, Sheffield, was traveling south on Austin Hill Rd. and turned onto Keystone Ave. Kohnen told police that a cat ran across the road in front of his vehicle and he slammed on the breaks, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and strike a guide rail. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Police said that Kohnen, who was not injured, was subsequently arrested for DUI.
