Times Observer photo by Stacey Gross Pleasant Township VFD responded to a reported structure fire at Country Fair on Monday afternoon. The Country Fair station on Pleasant Drive, according to Chief David Tipton, experienced a power outage earlier in the afternoon which cut power to the store from 240 to 120 volts, Tipton said. The store’s furnace began to smoke as a result and workers inside reported a fire when they saw smoke begin to enter the store. There were no injuries, and Tipton said that the store would reopen when power was restored to the building. Penelec assisted at the scene and Starbrick and Glade VFDs were on standby, Tipton said.

False Identification. Dustin Hepler-Kostreba, 19, Warren was charged with False Identification to Law Enforcement and Driving without a License following a traffic stop on December 12, 2016.

Public Drunkeness. Michael Bradish, 49, Warren was cited for Public Drunkenness on December 22, 2016 after police received a report of a male urinating on a sidewalk.

Cited.  Abigail Higgins, 27, Warren was cited for a Stop Sign Violation on December 22, 2016 following a two-vehicle traffic accident at Madison/ Buchanan.

Cited. Michael Fitzgerald, 38, Clarendon was cited for Turning Movements and Required Signals following a two-car accident on December 23, 2016 at Market and Seventh.

Cited. Amy Thompson, 40, Warren was cited for Careless Driving and Accident Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property following an investigation into a Hit & Run on December 26, 2016.

Cited. Lonny Fry, 51, Warren was cited for Careless Driving on December 26, 2016 following a two-vehicle accident on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Cited. Ronald Toy III, 50, Warren, was cited for Harassment and Public Drunkenness on December 29, 2016 after police responded to a domestic dispute. He was placed in the Warren County Jail on a Probation Detainer.

Cited. Richard Scalise, 87, Warren was cited for Harassment on December 30, 2016 after it was reported that he had made threats to physically harm a person known to him.

Cited. Zachary Anderson, 22, Clarendon and Christian Foley, 26, Pittsburgh, were both cited for Disorderly Conduct after police witnessed a fight between them in a parking lot of a local establishment on December 31, 2016.

Columbus Twp.

Burglary. According to Pennsylvania State Police, an unknown suspect entered a residence owned by Heather Hamilton, 34, of Columbus, by forcible entry and breaking a latch. Once inside, the suspect stole money. An investigation is ongoing.
