Caregivers Support Group to meet Monday
The Caregivers Support Group-Warren, will meet on Monday, Nov. 17, at noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. Enter the building via the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. This is a time of confidential discussion and sharing of concerns from caregivers. All caregivers and those interested in learning about Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia-related disorders are welcome and encouraged to attend. The support group meeting is open to the public. Russell UMC to host breakfast Saturday
RUSSELL – A free community breakfast will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Russell United Methodist Church. Breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, sausages, coffee and juice. Everyone is welcome.
Northwest Bank to host blood drive today
The Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Nov. 12, at Northwest Bank, 301 Second Ave., Warren. To donate, individuals must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.fourhearts.org or by calling Edinger at 814-596-3395. Walk-ins are also welcome, but scheduling an appointment ensures a smoother process for donors. Blood donations take about 45 minutes.
Sugar Grove VFD to host craft show Saturday
SUGAR GROVE – The Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department will host a Christmas craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the fire hall, 27 Wilson St., Sugar Grove. There will be a variety of vendors with unique holiday items. Church members will sell cookies, there will be a food truck and Chinese auction as well. There is no admission fee and free parking.
