Fall fun event

PITTSFIELD — Fall fun is slated for Saturday in Pittsfield. According to organizers, there are no tricks, just treats. The event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. and families are invited to stop by Berea Lutheran Church, Routes 6 and 958, Pittsfield, for free treats, doughnuts and cider. This is a safe-for-all-ages kid friendly event. All are welcome for this indoor event and costumes are optional.

Harvest dinner Saturday

The Akeley Christian Fellowship Church will serve a drive-through harvest dinner on Saturday form 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The turkey dinner includes scalloped potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cole slaw, roll and either apple or pumpkin pie. The cost is by donation.

The church is located at 541 Akeley Road, Russell. Proceeds benefit the Akeley Christian Fellowship Church programs.
