The General Joseph Warren Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met on Sept. 14 at the Conewango Club in Warren with Kris Sivak as the guest speaker. Sivak presented a program detailing her humanitarian trip to Poland in early May while sharing several images taken as she and her step-daughter, Paris, were assisting the many efforts being conducted in Poland to aid the Ukrainian refugees. She thanked the DAR for their donation to her humanitarian efforts and reported that the funding had been spent on sleeping bags for Ukrainian men at the front lines of the War. During the meeting, DAR also discussed commemorations of Constitution Week. DAR Chapter treasurer and pro tem registrar Fran Perrin encouraged anyone interested in finding out more about their lineage and the steps required to join the DAR to email generaljosephwarrendar@gmail.com or visit dar.org.
