Woman’s Club artisan event set for Nov. 13

What’s new for the holidays?

Just ask the Woman’s Club of Warren.

The club’s annual holiday artisan show, “What’s New for the Holidays,” is set for Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the club’s ballroom, 310 Market St.

“Make your season much brighter and stress-free by supporting the talents of local artisans,” the club said in a statement.

The entry fee is $5 and children under 12 are admitted for free.

“We have many new vendors and an incredible array of raffles, visits with Santa and the Mrs. and a delicious lunch,” Deb Jannotti explained.

Venders will include Roberta Ward, ground pine wreaths; Tybout House, gifts, candy, misc.; Katherin Lindquist, natural bird feeders; Linda and Jay Gutknecht, cutlery and signs; Christine Roessler, beach glass jewelry; Jill Phillips, baskets; Jennifer Wise, laser-cut items; Anita Eriksen, paintings and supplies; Melissa Flagella, paper quilted creations; Lou Cable, painting/artwork; Cheryl Frye, pillows/embroidery and other needlecraft items; Bill Gross, hand-turned wood items; Eliza Brook, spoon rings; Rusted Rooster, gifts/antiques; Laura Bunce, crochet/handwoven gifts; Edie Nulph, knitted items and birdhouses; George Gustafson, maple products; Joe Pottle, hand painted glass and jewelry; Sandi Ceriola, holiday baked goods.

Children will be able to visit with Santa and Mrs. Clause — photos included — between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Jessica Shannon, a non-traditional reiki and aromatherapy student will be offering 30 minute sessions for $40.

The club will be decorated for Christmas and lunch will be offered — beef on weck for $15. Tickets will be available at the door.

There will also be a series of raffle items — a wine basket, money tree, 19th century cherry side table, Vera Bradley set and gift certificates among others. A vendor basket will be drawn at 3:30 p.m. with all the other raffle drawings set to take place on Dec. 18.
