Pleas entered during prelim hearings

Seven guilty pleas were entered while charges were withdrawn against one during preliminary hearings held on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Catherine R. Bindics, Jamestown, NY, to possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft.

¯ Aaron J. Brew, Warren, to receiving stolen property. At a second docket, a count of retail theft was withdrawn while a second count was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Jason M. Easley, Oil City, Pa., to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privilege suspended or revoked. A count of operating a vehicle without valid inspection was withdrawn.

¯ Mariah D. Fetter, Youngsville, to possession of a controlled substance. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

¯ Allan R. Gibson, Irvine, to possession of a controlled substance and driving without a license. Charges including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug parpahernalia and driving an unregistered vehicle were withdrawn.

¯ Brandon L. Kinney, Sheffield, to possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment. Charges of indecent assault — forcible compulsion, strangulation and marijuana — small amount personal use were withdrawn.

¯ Nicholas J. Patz, Youngsville, to marijuana — small amount personal use and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against John M. Griffin, Warren. Griffin had been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense while a count of driving while operating privilege suspended or revoked was re-categorized as a traffic offense.
