Pickut is guest at observatory

FREWSBURG — The Martz-Kohl Observatory will showcase virtual guest speaker Walter W. Pickut via ZOOM at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Pickut where he will present an in-depth, investigative report on what Russian research is accomplishing on the International Space Station. Pickut is an author, investigative reporter and currently contributing editor at the Jamestown Gazette. Most recently, Pickut has completed extensive studies in Soviet Cold War Espionage. He is now finding the investigation of Russian cosmonauts on the International Space Station very revealing.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Martz-Kohl Observatory remains closed to the public. In an effort to continue with the mission to inform, educate, and inspire the general public and support teaching in the sciences of astronomy and physics, the observatory is moving forward with virtual events.
