The last day to purchase plants at the Alleghany Community Greenhouse is on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There are many varieties of flowers and vegetables available, as well as hanging baskets and planters. The greenhouse is located on the Warren State Hospital grounds across from Walmart. It is a volunteer station sponsored by Allegheny Community Center, an affiliate of Experience Inc. and a United Fund member agency.

The mission for the Allegheny Community Greenhouse is to provide an educational learning center, a therapeutic activity for people and an indoor classroom for people of all ages. Proceeds of the sale of plants benefit the Indigent Patient Fund of the Warren State Hospital.
