Library photography contest

The awards reception for the 2017 Library Photography Contest was held on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Terrie Johnson, facilitator of the Chautauqua County Camera Club and facilitator of the judging for Warren Public Library’s event, spoke to the attendees and congratulated everyone for their entries.

Fire police to meet

The next Warren County Fire Police meeting is at 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at Columbus Fire Hall. This will be election of officers. There will be no breakfast served. The 2018 membership applications for the PA Fire Police Memberships will be available. Places are needed to host a meeting for 2018.

Canceled

Drop & Shop “Kids Day Out” on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Youngsville Free Methodist Church has been canceled.

Class lunch

The WHS Class of 1959 will meet for lunch at Perkins on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 12:30 p.m. Spouses and guest are always welcome. Perkins is handicapped-accessible.

Fire department meeting

Tidioute Area Volunteer Fire Department will hold a special meeting regarding nominations at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the fire hall. All members should attend this meeting.
