Jill Kelly, wife of former Bills great, to speak at Praise Fellowship

Jill Kelly will be speaking in the Warren area at 7 p.m. November 16 at the Praise Fellowship Church, located at 7451 Market Street, Russell. This event is free and open to the public.

Kelly is a New York Times bestselling author and the wife of retired Buffalo Bills Quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.

On November 16, Jill will be sharing her testimony. She explains:

“I never really thought about miracles until I needed one. Actually, now that I think about it, I have desperately needed two miracles thus far in my life: one to save my son and the other to save my husband. Both received death sentences. My son suffered from a rare, genetic, fatal disease for which the doctors told us there was no treatment or cure. My husband was diagnosed with oral cancer that lurked dangerously close to his brain stem, giving him a mere 10 percent chance of survival. Both needed healing that lay well beyond human wisdom, medical resourcefulness, or anything this world has to offer. And both required a miracle to get it.

“God answered both of my miracle requests – one the way I had hoped and prayed for and the other the exact opposite way of what I had prayed for.”

Jill further explains the reason for her hope through her life’s trials and the reason you too can find hope, “the circumstances that have transpired in order to bring you to this season in your life do not define you. You are defined by your identity as a beloved child of God.”

Jill and Jim have shared their story all over the world and have appeared nationally on numerous television shows including: Fox & Friends, Hannity, Good Morning America, The Today Show, CBS This Morning, The Discovery Channel, The 700 Club, Oprah, ESPN, Fox Sports, and others The Kelly family has also been invited to share their story via numerous speaking engagements throughout the years.

“Jill has encouraged me in my faith and journey,” said Event Coordinator Christin Borger. “I promise no matter your circumstances, you will be blessed by this event.”
