K of C meeting

The Knights of Columbus will meet at 7:00 PM on Thursday November 12th at the North Warren Clubhouse.  All members are invited to attend.

ReStore donations

Habitat for Humanity of Warren County’s ReStore is operating from the basement of Second Avenue Exchange, located at 306 Second Avenue in Warren. Habitat will accept donations at that location only on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 10am to noon. The next dropoff dates are January 14 and 28. Please do not leave items outside of those hours. Habitat reserves the right to deny any item based on its potential resale value and / or usefulness to the organization. Bridge results

Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center, Connie Lucia placed first followed by Joanne Massa.  At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Connie Michell and Marjorie Polito were first and second.  Thursday evening at the library, Connie Michell was first and Tana Fegely was second.  At the Friday Marathon at the Woman’s Club, Dot Boekeloo and Sally Steele came in first, followed by Connie Michell and JoAnn Hultquist.

Community dinner

Community dinner will be held at the Free Methodist Church located at 179 Davis St., Youngsville, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, with chicken pot pie, salad and dessert on the menu.

Lions Turkey Dinner

The Warren Lions Club 27th Annual Turkey Dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at St. Joseph’s Recreation Center. Tickets are $10 each, available at Crone’s Drug Store, Kersey & Associates, and from any Lions Club member.
