Photos submitted to Times Observer All youth ages 8-18 can learn to design, build and program robots through the Warren County 4-H Robotics Club. The club will be working with Junk Drawer Robotics and LEGO robotic kits. There will be an informational/planning meeting from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Warren County Penn State Extension office, 100 Dillon Drive, Youngsville. New members and old members are encouraged to attend this first meeting. The club will plan out its year, outline the meeting schedule and participate in a hands-on activity. Class to Lunch

The Warren Area High School Class of 1950 will meet for lunch Thursday, Jan. 12 at noon at Bob Evans.

Fire Police to Meet

The Warren County Fire Police will meet Sunday, Jan. 8 at 9 a.m. at the Clarendon Fire Hall. Tee shirts are in and can be picked up when paid.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore

Habitat for Humanity of Warren County’s ReStore is operating from the basement of Second Avenue Exchange, located at 306 Second Ave. in downtown Warren.

Habitat will accept donations at that location only on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. The next dropoff dates are Saturday, Jan. 14 and Saturday Jan. 28. Do not leave items outside of those hours.

Habitat reserves the right to deny any item based on its potential resale value and/or usefulness to the organization.

Writers group

Calling all writers! Do you have a story yearning to be written and published? Are you looking for a group of like-minded individuals on the journey of writing? If so, you’re invited to join the Warren Writers Group at the Warren Public Library. We will meet the second Thursday of each month beginning on February 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. Learn the many aspects of the writing craft: story structure, plotting, dialog, character development, genres, Show vs. Tell, and much more. For those interested in self-publishing, we will also cover how to find an editor, book cover artist, marketing, and building an Author Platform. Group coordinator will be Amazon-published author Ava Louise.
