Community Eye Care Specialists present an Ocular Disease & the Aging Eye discussion followed by Q&A time at ACC on Thursday, July 7 at 10:15 a.m. No registration required!

Farmers Market Voucher make-up time is Friday, July 8, from 2-4 p.m. at Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark Street, for Warren/Forest County residents, age 60 and older who meet income guidelines. Income maximum guideline for single persons is $21,978 and for couples is $29,637. ID with your birth date is required. Voucher is worth $20.

Starting July 11, congregate lunches at Warren & Forest County Senior & Community Centers, including Allegheny Community Center, Sheffield Senior Center, Tidioute Senior Center, Endeavor Senior Center and Marienville Senior Center, will be prepared by The Nutrition Group, a Pennsylvania food service provider. A variety of tasty, healthy meals will be served Monday thru Friday at 12 noon by reservation only. Reservations must be made at least 2 weekdays in advance. Plus, a Bistro $4 tossed salad lunch will be available Monday thru Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. with NO reservation required. Congregate lunches are a $3 donation for all those who are 60+ and a $4 donation for those under 60. Please reserve your lunch(es) at least 2 weekdays in advance by calling ACC at 723-3237.

Delicious hot lunches or light alternative cold lunches are still being served Monday thru Friday, July 8. Lunch reservations must be made by 2:00 p.m. the day prior to reserve a lunch by calling 723-3237. Bistro Soup & Sandwich lunches are served for $4 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and at 12 noon on Friday with no reservation required. The public is always welcome!

ACC is open Mondays thru Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended hours until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ACC is closed on legal holidays and on those days when Warren County schools are closed unexpectedly due to bad weather.

Lunches

The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers July 5-8: Monday: CLOSED; Tuesday: taco salad; Wednesday: fish; Thursday: spaghetti; Friday: picnic buffet. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.
