The groom’s parents are Fred and Debbie Backhus of Warren. The bride is a graduate of University of Montana College in Missoula, Montana. She is a kindergarten teacher in Colorado City, Texas. The groom is a 2007 graduate of the U. S. Air Force Academy. He is a C-130 pilot stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas.
