Ron and Cathy LaBarte of Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Theresa LaBarte, of Irvine, California, to Mike Yu-Nan Hsu, also of Irvine, California.

Mike is the son of Jen-Hsing Hsieh of Rowland Heights, California, and Liang-Ching Hsu of Taipei, Taiwan. The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Eisenhower High School, a 2005 graduate of Lycoming College, and a 2010 graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She currently works as a neurologist in Loma Linda, California. Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of John A. Rowland High School, a 2004 graduate of University of California, Irvine, and a 2010 graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He currently works as a hospitalist physician in Orange County, California. The couple are planning an October 22, 2016 wedding in Jamestown, New York with honeymoon to follow in Bora Bora and New Zealand.
