Paul and Denise Keppel of Russell are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miranda Keppel of Russell, to Colton Black of Sugar Grove. He is the son of Carl and Catherine Black of Sugar Grove.

Miranda and Colton were high-school sweethearts and both graduated from Eisenhower High School in 2009. Miranda earned her Associate’s of Science in Nursing degree from Jamestown Community College in 2014 and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Daemen College in 2015. She is a Registered Nurse in the maternity unit at Warren General Hospital.

Colton received his CNC Programming certification from Precision Manufacturing Institute in 2010. He is employed as a CNC Technician at Betts Industries.

The happy couple is planning to be married in June of 2016.
