Fire watch
The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Fire Weather Watch for Warren and McKean counties, in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
During this time, outdoor burning is not recommended.
Critical fire weather conditions are possible. There is an increased risk for rapid wildfire growth and spread. Prescribed burns may get out of control.
NWS predicts temperatures will be in the lower 50s with relative humidity as low as 24 percent. Winds will be coming from the west at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph.
Minimum relative humidity and peak winds are predicted to occur from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
