TCCS volleyball falls at UC

UNION CITY, Pa. – Tidioute traveled to Union City Tuesday looking to pick up its second Region 3 win of the season.

Ultimately, the Bears proved too much to handle and sent the Bulldogs away with a 25-20, 25-16, 14-25 and 25-10 win.

Brooke Martin led the way for Tidioute with 20 digs, nine kills and a pair of aces. Shelby Proctor had a kill and 10 digs, while Greysen Fors added a kill and three digs to go along with her 16 assists. Kelsey Nuttall had three aces, a kill and nine digs and Nakiesha Krouse and Jenna Hunt each finished with two kills and seven digs.

The Bulldogs moved to 3-7 overall and 1-6 in Region 3, while the Bears improved to 6-5 and 4-2.

Tidioute hosts Rocky Grove Friday.

After dropping the first set, Union City came back to win the junior varsity match, 20-25, 25-10 and 15-6.

Proctor (3 aces, 3 kills, assist), Angelina Sabella (ace, kill), Aspen Fors (ace, 2 assists) and Natalie Valentine (ace) played well in the loss.
