Youngsville X-C competes at Corry
CORRY, Pa. – Harbor Creek’s boys cross country team swept a tri-meet over Youngsville and host Corry Tuesday.
The Huskies bested the Eagles 15-50 and took down the Beavers 16-44. Corry defeated Youngsville 17-43.
Harbor Creek’s Caleb Mandel was the top individual finisher, coming in with a time of 18:53.
Mik Fehlman paced the Eagles and his 21:11 was good enough for 11th overall. Phoenix Lindell (14th, 22:11), Damon Reese (18th, 22:12), Dominick Walton (20th, 23:34) and Ryen Sutton (23rd, 23:49) rounded out the top five for Youngsville.
Corry’s girls narrowly edged out Harbor Creek, 26-32, despite the Huskies’ Madeline Curtis finishing first with a 21:57.
Youngsville did not run enough girls to acquire a team score.
Julia Bojaczko led the Eagles with a 28:17 to finish in 15th. Aliviah Messinger finished 22nd with a 32:04 and Becca Henry was 24th with a 40:56.
