Big showcase weekend on tap for travel teams

Grace Wortman is one of four players playing for Team Akadema, which will be competing in the North American All Sanctioned World Series this weekend in Columbus, Ohio.

A number of Warren County baseball and softball players have been busy with their respective travel teams this summer, and this weekend is another loaded one.

These teams allow for players to continue bettering themselves by playing against other top competition throughout the region and country, in front of a plethora of college coaches.

Many of the players we’ve been featuring this summer have those aspirations, and here’s where they will be playing this weekend, beginning today.
