Dragons rout VisionQuest in consolation game

Griffin Suppa and the Dragons had no problems with VisionQuest in the consolation game of the Oil City Blue & White Holiday Tournament on Friday.

OIL CITY – Warren bounced back from a close loss to Rocky Grove with an easy 78-30 win over VisionQuest in the consolation game of the Oil City Blue & White Holiday Tournament.

Jake Kupchella scored a game-high 22 points as the Dragons (4-4) knocked off VQ for the second time this season.

Caleb Ei added 18 points for the Dragons and point guard Griffin Suppa controlled the tempo, as Warren assumed command with a 25-7 second quarter run.

In all, 12 different Dragons found their way into the scoring column.

The Dragons return to action Wednesday at Fort LeBoeuf.
