Warren girls finish second at NW Invite

FAIRVIEW – Warren, Eisenhower and Youngsville traveled to Pleasant Ridge Park in Fairview for the Northwest Pennsylvania Invitational on Saturday.

The Warren girls earned a second place finish, led by a Naomi Hahn, who finished fifth overall and Kayla Giambrone, who came in tenth. Leah Drake also posted a top 20 finish for the Lady Dragons.

The Eisenhower boys earned a ninth place finish, led by the 1-2 punch of Tyler Burnell and Ethan Kellogg, who finished 38th and 41st respectively, followed by the Youngsville boys in 11th and Warren in 12th.

The Eisenhower girls finished 11th, with Lily Fedorchuk and Sydney Welker coming in 51st and 52nd respectively.

This was the final tune-up for all three schools before the District 10 Championships on Saturday at Sharon’s Buhl Park.

Eisenhower’s Alex Hummel also earned a medal in the junior high race with a 19th place finish.
