Lady Knights fall to Cambridge Springs
CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS – Eisenhower was facing a tall order going into Cambridge Springs, Region 3’s second place team on Thursday.
The Blue Devils showed why they are now 11-2 in region play with a 49-20 win over the Lady Knights.
“They’re only two losses are to number one Cochranton, and they’re a good team, but we were a little flat,” said Eisenhower coach Mike Logue. “We didn’t play with the enthusiasm that we did earlier in the week.”
Sabre Turner led a balanced effort with 13 points for CS (14-7 overall, 11-2 Region 3), while Lilli Mason added 12.
Kirsten Baran paced Eisenhower with eight points, five rebounds and two blocked shots.
Eisenhower (8-13, 6-7) will conclude the regular season on Monday at aforementioned Cochranton.
“If we come out with enthusiasm and heart, maybe we can give them a game,” said Logue.
