Lions earn win over Faith Christian

SENECA – Tommy Jones led three players in double figures with 17 points as Warren County Christian School raced to a 62-37 win over Faith Christian Academy on Friday.

“Excellent game,” said WCCS coach Tom Jones. “We passed the ball great tonight, one of our best passing games of the season.”

Josh Jones had 14 points and Josiah Poindexter 11, with coach Jones noting the improved play of Josh Jones and Stephen Brenner, who had six points.

“Huge improvements for both Josh Jones and Stephen Brenner,” coach Jones said. “They’re starting to put points on the board for us, really picking it up and helping our seniors.”

The Lions also won the JV game, 40-33, with Ethan Kerr scoring 15 points to lead the way.
