Veterans have been getting a bad name since the Vietnam War and I blame the media! Let's continue on with the VA disaster and it's no wonder that Vets get little respect from the government.

Frugal...sadly, there has NEVER been outrage over how Veterans were treated at VA hospitals....In the late 70 and 80s a family member, a Vietnam vet, was in a VA hospital on the E. Coast....You would not put a DOG in one of these places.
People who advocate war should ALL be required to visit a VA hospital and see for themselves what happens AFTER the cute yellow fibbons, hoopla and press conferences are over when there is a war going on. Veterans, in my opinion, were never meant to return in any form other than un-wounded. The grievously wounded and forever damaged, who may never have survived earlier conflicts, now face a lifetime of suffering, especially if they are relegated to a VA hospital, forgotten by most.
Meanwhile, NO president or administration forced these vandals to do what they did.People need to stop blaming the White House. The vandals probably grew up in homes where everyone else is to blame for their failures in life, and this is how they turned out.

A stolen grave marker “outrages” the majority, but allowing the government employees to kill veterans through neglect at the VA is yesterday’s news. These employees got bonuses for doing this. Where are the mass firings? Even the most liberal should be “outraged” that only one person resigned, and he was planning on resigning months before the story broke. The outrage should be toward the Obama administration and the media for continuing business as usual.
