Do you think we'll get an Obamacare question tomorrow? Or ever?

Lets let the teachers union name them, after all that is the organization which controls your children's education!

They should give the one in Sheffield an alliterative name like "Sheffield School," or S.S.

That really has a nice ring to it.

Reader, I'm from the central attendance area. I'm not opposed to the entire county giving input. Your comment about money hole was extremely rude given that the way the district spends monies is not the fault of the students. Dizzygal, they are schools, however, their school name will be abbreviated for apparel and uniforms. Pride in your school is very important and has a direct affect on student achievement.

SAS, EAS. That's all. Sheffield Area School, Eisenhower Area School. Refer to the elementary or secondary wings as needed. Simpler, and down the road could be cheaper.

At the very least DON"T call them learning centers!! Why use 4 syllables when 1 works so well? they are SCHOOLS - call them schools!!

is nmpet2 referring to the eisenhower and sheffield community, or the warren county school district community as the tax monies came from the whole county?

Yes. This could bring the parents and students together building excitement and unity for their new school. The administration talks about community perception but never takes that leap to involve community in a way that is worthwhile. This would take very little effort and would be great for them.
