Those who disagreed with the Oct-14-13 10:16 AM post, just keep on kicking the can down the road. I PROMISE you that your descendants will curse your name for selfishly throwing away a free nation and selling them into slavery. How myopic and utterly narcissistic.

The debt ceiling does not pay for anything. It allows them to borrow money that we do not have to pay for a fiscally responsible budget that has not been passed but maybe once under this administration as it is constitutionally mandated.
If you believe Ms. Pelosi that there is nothing left to cut, then why do they call the majority of those shut down non-essential?

The debt ceiling pays for items already legislated by Congress. Time for that discussion has passed. Irresponsible and dangerous to our economy and rating not to raise the debt ceiling.

To raise the ceiling without a bona-fide, carved in stone plan to curtail out-of-control spending would be inexcusable. If the GOP caves, we're finished. WE NEED A REAL PRESIDENT!
