Theft. Warren-based state police said that Stacey Baker, Grand Valley, reported that between July 4 and July 8 her cell phone was stolen from 1406 Hoover Road and was found in the possession of a male juvenile in Titusville. Police said the investigation continues.

Firearm violation. Warren-based state police reported that on March 21 at 8:13 p.m. Michael Wright, 31, Houston, Texas, attempted to purchase an S&W assault style rifle from Tall Tales when he was not permitted to do so. Police said charges of sale or transfer of firearms materially false written statement and unsworn falsification to authorities were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer's office and a warrant was issued for Wright's arrest. Anyone with information regarding Wright's whereabouts is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 8 at 9:20 p.m. on Davey Hill Road, south of Andrews Run Road. Police said a 2000 Buick LeSabre, driven by Brittany N. Hannah, 23, Youngsville, hit a tree that had fallen across the roadway. The impact caused disabling damage to the right front tire. After impact, the vehicle came to rest on the berm of the road. Police said no injuries were reported that Hannah was not cited.
