Norman C. Kenney, Jr., 68, of 25 Robertson Drive Youngsville, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on December 12, 1945, the son of the late Norman C. and Winnifred (Smith) Kenney.
Before moving to Youngsville in the 7th grade, he grew up in Summerdale, New York. Norm graduated from Youngsville High School in the class of 1965. He was employed for many years as a Lineman for REA Electric in Youngsville. He was a member of the Youngsville American Legion Post 658 of Youngsville and also was a member of the Sons of the AMVETS in Sugar Grove and Corry Central Labor Club. He loved to shoot pool, play cards, cribbage, cornhole, bingo, and raise gamecocks. He will be remembered for his zest in life, his dedication to his family and his friends; and, his relentless efforts to live on the edge.
Surviving are 4 sons, Norman (Jennifer) C. Kenney III of Pittsfield, Daniel (Delynn) J. Kenney of Inola, Oklahoma, Ryan Clark of Smithsburg, Maryland, and Brandon (Tereasa) Clark of Youngsville; 1 daughter, Jaqueline (David Wallace) Johnson of Sugar Grove; 1 sister, Susan Piccirillo (David) Marino of Erie; 2 brothers, Daniel (Frances) Kenney of Sugar Grove and Patrick (Ronda) J. Kenney of Franklin; 11 Grandchildren, John Haynes, Falina A. Kenney, Scott Stearns, Kaylynn Ward, Jayde Kenney, Katie Kenney, Abbigayle Clark,

Christopher Kenney, Khloe Kenney, Crystal Collin, and Matt Haynes; his girlfriend, Teri Weber of Busti, NY and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Life will be held at a time and place to be announced. The family suggests those wishing to place memorials may to so to a charity of their choice.
