Dam Cup winners
Blueberry Hill Golf Club hosted the third annual Dam Cup this past weekend. The Blueberry team defeated Kane Country Club 10-8 in the Ryder Cup-style competition. Jacob Gydus and Hailey Eichenlaub of Tigers After School Karate (TASK) were recently tested and promoted to their respective rank after they underwent an examination on their knowledge of Karate and self-defense techniques. Jacob was promoted to Orange Belt and Hailey to Yellow in Kaneda Goshin Jutsu. The testing was conducted by Fighting Tigers Martial Arts Soke Grandmaster Kimio Nelson.

Old Timers baseball
The Jamestown Old Timers Men's 50+ baseball team traveled to Youngstown, Ohio last Sunday and lost a pair of games to American Division rival, Chester, West Virginia. In game one, Brian Moldovan went 3-for-4 and Larry Persing 2-for-3 for Jamestown. In game two, Ron Thomas hit 3-for-3 for Jamestown. Jamestown's record is now 2-4.
The Old Timers are back in action at home this coming Saturday, June 28, at Russell Diethrick Park. Jamestown hosts National Division leader Girard, Ohio for a double header beginning at 11 a.m.
