Robots at the library

June 24, 2014
Times Observer

These robots will be on display in the Warren Public Library Children's Department throughout June and July. Some of the children came into the library to create their robots on June 16; other robots were created at home. Children of all ages are welcome to bring in robots created at home out of recycled materials until mid-July. Those that make robots will have their names placed in a drawing for Amazon gift cards in the amounts of $50, $35 and $25. Names can be entered multiple times if multiple robots are submitted. The drawing will take place on July 30; children can take home their bots starting July 30. Call Children's Librarian Susan Slater at 723-4650 with any questions. Above, a group shot of some of the Recycled Robots created by local children, who used a variety of materials and their imaginations to come up with this whimsical group of bots.
