Frank T. Flood passed away peacefully on June 9, 2014 in Jacksonville, Flori-da having been preceded in death by his beloved wife Lois Flood in April 2013. Frank was born in Warren on July 4, 1920, the only son of Frank and Laura Flood, and lived most of his life in Warren, having graduated from Warren High School in 1938. Frank was employed by Bell Telephone Co of PA for 42 years as a lineman, splicer, foreman, and en-gineer prior to his retire-ment in 1982. He served with the US Navy during World War II in the con-struction battalion (Seabees) building com-munications facilities in the Hawaiian Islands and the Philippine Islands. Frank was active in many local organizations includ-ing the Bell Telephone Pioneers (past president), Boy Scouts, Industrial Management Association (past president), Warren Masonic Lodge, Rotary International (past president), and was an ac-tive member of Grace Unit-ed Methodist Church where he served as an Usher and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Following re-tirement in 1982, Frank and his wife Lois wintered in DeLeon Springs, Florida where he became an avid bowler and golfer. They moved permanently to Jacksonville in 2005.
