Jim Fehlman and Regis Thompson tied for the low gross at 37 in the Youngsville Area Senior Golf League on Tuesday morning at Maplehurst Country Club. Thompson had the low net of 27 and Stan Crouse was second at 29. Birdies were recorded by Fehlman, Ray Adams, Pete Hofert, and Bob Yucha.
Betsy Senger's 44 was the nine-hole low gross and Michelle Lauffenburger's 35 the low net in the Conewango Valley Country Club Tuesday Ladies League. Senger and Marlene Sandberg tied for the 18-hole low gross at 93 and Judy Dale had the 18-hole low net of 76.
Warren County Special Olympics held its annual Athletics Competition on Wednesday, May 28. Athletes competed in running and walking events as well as the field events in shot put, turbo jav, standing and long jump. Results are below:

Race in Warren
The 4th annual Joggin' with Jordan 5k and 10k run and fun walk will be held on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. The course includes Lexington Avenue, Conewango Avenue, Third Avenue, Water Street in the city, and the bike path in North Warren. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution in these areas and expect delays. People visiting the downtown Farmer's Market from Third Avenue should be alert for runners and walkers between 9 and 10 a.m.
Warren Post 135 fell to Corry Northwest Savings Bank, 12-2, in a five-inning Senior American Legion League game Tuesday night at The Ballpark At Columbus. Corry only struck out one time, and did not commit any errors.
Post 135 scored in the second inning when Tanner Stanz walked and was driven home on a double to right field by Jake Retterer. In the fourth, Brad Walters drew a walk, stole second and scored sliding on a single by Mark Reiff.
Corry's Joe Karpenko pitched all five innings, allowing three hits, two walks, and two runs while striking out five.

Tyler Leichtenberger, Jeff Eaton, and Andrew Morrison each had three hits for Betts in a 15-4 Richard T. Betts Rec Modified Softball League win Wednesday over Crescent Inn. T.J. Latimer, Brandon Schott, and Chris Danielson homered, and Leichtenberger was the winning pitcher.

Crescent Beer overcame a fast start by Craco to earn a 18-14 come-from-behind victory in Tuesday's Over 30 action at Betts Park. Jeff Berdine and Todd Mineweaser each had four hits in the win. Berdine and Jon Girardi each scored three runs and drove in three to lead the offensive attack.
