Furnishing alcohol. Tyler W. Chase, 24, of Jamestown, N.Y., was charged with several counts each of interference with the custody of a child, corruption of minor, endangering the welfare of a child, and furnishing alcohol to minors. Police said Chase arranged by phone and text message to pick up girls, ages 16 and 17, and take them to parties at locations in the Warren County and Jamestown areas and providing them with alcohol on numerous occasions. The events took place between July 15 and Nov. 12, 2013. Chase also faces charges in New York State. Police said Pennsylvania State Police and and a New York police department investigated and that further court action is pending.
DUI. Karly Sue Sorensen, 28, of Warren, was charged with DUI after a crash at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, in which police said she committed multiple traffic violations and crashed her vehicle into a gas line at Park Avenue and North Street in Warren. Pennsylvania State Police, assisting City of Warren Police with evacuating residents due to the gas leak, arrested Sorensen and took her to Warren General Hospital. Also assisting were Warren City Fire Department and Warren County Sheriff's Office.
Disorderly. Alexander Marvin, 18, of Clarendon, was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after he allegedly approached a 15-year-old boy and started a physical confrontation at 6:15 p.m. Friday along Railroad Street in Clarendon. Charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Underage. Alexander Marvin, 18, of Clarendon, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol. Police said Marvin was under the influence of alcohol at 7:30 p.m. Friday at 2 Anchor St., Clarendon. Charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Pine Grove Twp.
DUI. Daniel Robert Haskins, 26, of Warren, was charged with two counts of DUI, careless driving, and other summary traffic violations at 2:36 a.m. Sunday on South Main Street, Pine Grove Township. Police said Haskins was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped for a traffic violation. Police said he was taken to Warren General Hospital and charges will be filed through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Theft. Michael Notoro, 46, of Sheffield, was charged with theft after police said he broke into a Sheffield resident's truck and took a firearm at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Shaw House parking lot in Sheffield. Police said Notoro was arraigned before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth and released on $50,000 bail.
New York State
DWI. Tashara L. Rhoades, 27, of Russell, was charged with two counts of DWI and speed in zone, by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office. According to police, Rhoades was pulled over for speeding at 1:55 a.m. Sunday on McKay Road, Chautauqua, N.Y., and found to be intoxicated.
