Tigers have kick-a-thon

Members of Fighting Tigers Martial Arts (FTMA) recently held their Annual 2014 Kick-A-Thon raising $2000 for the local Chapter 75 Disabled American Veterans. The money will help support their many programs for Warren County Veterans. The FTMA feel it's important to give back to the community and holds kick-a-thons each year awarding proceeds to local charities and organizations. Present for the presentation were, from left, Kimio Nelson, FTMA Soke Master instructor; Paul Reed Jr., DAV 75 commander; kickers Madison Olney and Jessica Baccus; Walt Simpson Pennsylvania first vice commander; and Mel Kramer, DAV 75 senior vice commander. The above FTMA members were awarded 2014 Kick-A-Thon trophies for collecting the most pledges for the event, from left, Jessica Baccus won first place; Karson Lyon, second; and Janet Simpson, third.
