Embroidery class at Warren Library

May 8, 2014
Times Observer

Craft instructor Meg Robeson invites adults, teens and tweens accompanied by an adult to join her in an old-fashioned embroidery class on Saturday, May 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Slater Room on the third floor of the library. The sample shown is called Bee Tree and it is a great beginning stitchery project as it has only three or four different stitches. The materials cost for Bee Tree is only $5, and the kit contains the traced design on muslin and a complete floss kit. Each participant should bring a 5- or 6-inch hoop and sharp scissors. The $5 non-refundable materials fee is due when registering. This class is limited to the first 12 people who register at the main desk in the library. There must be a minimum of five paid registrants. Call Robeson at 757-8525 if you have any questions about the projects.
