Hessel Valley Lutheran Church will host a benefit Spaghetti Supper for The House of Hope on Thursday, May 8, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is donation all proceeds go to support The House of Hope, a place of recovery and new beginnings for Warren County women in transition from jail to the community. Takeouts will be available.

Harp concert May 15
Eduard Klassen, Paraguayan folk harpist, will present a concert at the Tionesta Alliance Church, Route 36 S., Tionesta, on Thursday, May 15, at 7 p.m. Klassen was born and raised in an isolated area of Paraguay, South America, and was 15 when he first saw a paved highway. Playing the harp has been his passion since 1975. His formal musical training included five years of study in Asuncion, Paraguay. The concert is open to the public. There is no charge for the concert, but an offering will be received.
