Jacquelyn J. Malone, 63, of Warren, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at the Warren Manor, following a brief illness. Jacque was born January 24, 1951, in Warren, PA. She is the daughter of the late William F. Johnston and Louise M. Smosna Johnston.
Jacque was a 1968 graduate of Warren High School, and later attended Jamestown Business College. She had worked at various places throughout the Warren area, including the Warren County Dairy Association, Betty Lee, and the Blair Corporation. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Eagles Club. Jacque was a very kind hearted and friendly person. She will be remembered as a very outgoing and social person that liked to spend time with her friends. She also enjoyed animals, especially her cat, crocheting, and supporting local charities.
She is survived by her son, Eric Jones, and wife, Grace, Shanghai, China; one sister, Linda Davis, and husband, Jim, Warren, PA; one brother, Dr. Richard Johnston, and wife, Breda, Limerick, Ireland; one grandson, Cameron; and several nieces and one nephew.
In addition to her parents, Jacque was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Malone, Sr. in March of 2009.
A private family service will be held for Jacque. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paws Along the River, 212 Elm Street, Warren, PA 16365; or a charity of choice.
