Three area schools, Warren, Youngsville and Sheffield had student art work selected for representation in the Edinboro Biennial District 10 Art Show. Art work was shown in Bruce Gallery Ducette Hall from March 25 to 30 with recognition and award ceremony on March 26. The 21 high schools from the District 10 region competed for judges awards. Students selected from Warren Area High school were Andrew Stanton showing his Graphite and pencil drawing Boldly Finished, Danielle Smith with a mixed media piece Mad Cow, Dallas Lindstrom showing an oil painting Octopi in Space and Elin Smith a four part mono-print embossed paper titled We'll be in Touch. Students from Youngsville High School were McKenzie Harrington showing a gouache and acrylic painting Reign of the Beast, Morgan Josephson, a ceramic piece titled A Conquest of Love, Piper Olson with a multi-media piece The Blue Lady, and Zach Ishman with a mixed Media work titled Paradise Lost. Sheffield Area Middle Senior High School was represented by Sabrina Spencer showing a Mixed Media Piece, Skeletal Dragon. Each student attending the reception March 26 received a hand crafted art work acknowledging their accomplishments.
Sheffield junior Sabrina Spencer had a mixed media artwork selected
