AOC on the move
On Tuesday, April 22, the Allegheny Outdoor Club (AOC) will participate in Earth Day/Adopt-A-Highway Litter Pickup by picking up trash for six miles on the Hearts Content Road. Participants will meet at Sandstone Springs on SR 3005 at 9:30 a.m. Gloves, vests and litter bags will be provided. Tuesday is Earth Day 2014. For more information, call Bill Massa at 723-2568.
On Sunday, April 27, the AOC will hike a six-mile loop in the Hatch Run Conservation Area. Participants will meet at the Hatch Run Conservation Pavilion at 1:30 p.m. For more information, call Marge Neel at 757-9099.
On Wednesday, April 30, the AOC will ride bikes in the Celoron/Chautauqua Lake area. Participants will meet at the Chautauqua Mall parking lot in front of Jo Ann Fabric at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Pat Spicer at 757-8331.

Warren High School Class of 1954 will have lunch at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Chiodo's, Pennsylvania Ave. W., Warren. Call 723-3655 for reservations.
Hill & Dale to meet
Hill & Dale Garden Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Pittsfield. "Recycling Options" with John Mortenson of Mortenson Recycling on Jackson Run Road will be the topic. Hostesses will be Ann Hernandez, chairperson, assisted by Becky Brown, Pat Wilcox, Betty Steklacic and Yvonne Lee. Devotions will be led by Yvonne Lee. A plant sale will be held in parking lot of church.

Warren High School Class of 1960 will have lunch at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Eagles Club, Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren.
There will be a Divine Mercy Celebration at St. Joseph Church from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27. There will be Eucharistic Adoration, Divine Mercy chaplet and litany, and Benediction. Confessions will be available.
The Warren County Shrine Club will have its annual "Stag Oyster Party" from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Youngsville Fire Hall. OYsters: raw, Casinos, deep fried, stewed, and beef on 'weck will be available. the evening will include a gun raffle and door prizes.
