Warren Area High School senior Tanner Rosenberg wasn't feeling well on Wednesday, but he was well enough to win the 400, 800 and be part of the winning 3,200-meter relay in a track meet at Franklin. That culminated a week in which he also win the 400 and 800, and was part of the winning 1,600 and 3,200 relays, in an upset of the Prep boys track team. Rosenberg, being pushed by senior teammate Luke Wortman, also won the 400 at the 24-team Harbor Creek Invitational on Saturday, and joined Wortman, Ryan Shattuck and Kyle Kulka to set a meet record in the 1,600 relay to help Warren to a second-place team finish. A sight to see would have been the 1-2 finish by Rosenberg in 51.65 seconds and Wortman 51.68 in the 400. Rosenberg edged Wortman in the race, and is the Times Observer Male Athlete of the Week, sponsored by McDonald's.
