Thursday, May 1, will be soup and sandwiches, dessert and beverages.
Please call the center at 484-3020 no later than 10 a.m. so Pat can be sure to have enough food prepared for those who are coming for lunch.
Cost is $4 for those under the age of 60 and only $3 for those age 60 and over.
Lenten lunch will be served today, April 16, at the Presbyterian Church at 11:30 a.m.
Chief Rob will be in the kitchen.
This lunch is free and is open to all who wish to come and participate.
Tidioute Community Charter School will be hosting a Gannon University Open House on Wednesday, April 16, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
High school juniors and seniors, as well as adults of any age, are able to take a variety of college classes through the Dual Enrollment program.
Classes are offered at a highly discounted rate which can save thousands of dollars. These Gannon University classes are held at Tidioute Community Charter School through a live televised classroom with other students, so there is no need to travel out of town to earn your college credits.

Watson Grange members will be picking up trash along route 337 on Saturday, April 19, starting at 10 a.m.
Members will meet at the Grange Hall.
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Tidioute children will be held on Saturday, April 19, at the Tippy Ballfield (weather permitting).
This event begins at 10 a.m. sharp.
Children need to bring their own baskets or bags to gather the eggs in.
The hunt is sponsored by Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament and the Tidioute Lions Club.
Senior Center News
Members of the Tidioute Senior Center gathered for a brief meeting prior to lunch on Thursday and all were in favor of purchasing a nice picnic basket with all the necessary items in it. The center will purchase vouchers for meats, etc.
There will also be lots of non essentials that will be donated by the group to make the basket an excellent fund raiser.
A drawing date and the start of ticket sales will be announced later.
Those wishing to have Easter Dinner on Thursday, May 17 are urged to call ahead for reservations.
Members will coloring Easter Eggs Thursday morning, come early and join the fun.
The group is growing in attendance, with many new faces and some they haven't seen for a while.
A rather long prayer list was read and a nurse from Titusville was present taking blood pressures.
Come out and join those who are attending and play 500 cards, or enjoy putting together jig saw puzzles. They hope to start playing bingo soon.
Of course there is always a lot of socializing too.
Elzie Lynch Post
There will be a meeting of the Elzie Lynch Post 334 of the American Legion on Tuesday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m. at St. John Center.
All members are urged to attend.
Tidioute Sports Boosters will hold a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday April 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
Cost is $8 and will include spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and a beverage.
Booster members will be taking orders to go from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
Delivery is available for residents of the towers.

There will be Bingo Games on Sunday, May 4, at Buccardo's Restaurant.
Doors will be open at 1 p.m. and the games will begin at 2 p.m., sponsored by Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament.
Tidioute First United Methodist Church will be holding a $1 dinner on Tuesday, April 29, at 6 p.m.
This is open to the community and all food will be furnished by the church.
Come and bring a friend.
Tidioute Borough will hold their annual Spring Clean-up on Saturday, May 10, at the borough garage from 8 a.m. until noon.
Cost is $5 per car load and $10 per pick up truck load.
No electronics, paint, batteries, tires or remodeling items will be accepted.
Limestone Township will hold their annual Spring Clean Up on Saturday, May 10, More information will be published later.
There will be an Outdoor Auction on Saturday, May 17, on Fishing Tournament grounds, 90 Main St., Tidioute, beginning at 1 p.m.
Dress for the weather, bring a lawn chair, grab a friend and join the fun.
Committee members are currently working on their 55th year of the tournament. Committee members would like to thank the community for their support.

Wheels and Deals
The annual Wheels and Deals Car Show will be held on Saturday, May 24, at the Tidioute Ballfield across from the Tidioute Firehall.
Registration begins at 9 a.m.
Vendors are welcome for $10 a spot. They are always looking for vendors, and always accepting door prize donations.

Ham and Turkey Party
Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament committee will be holding its annual Spring Ham and Turkey Party.
Date of this event is Sunday, May 25, at the Tidioute Firehall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the games begin at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $3 per person at the door, and the kitchen will be open. Beverages will be provided.
Council meeting was presided over by Vice President Dan Bonner.
Police Chief Steve Vincent reported traveling 666 miles and investigated 14 incidents.
The issue of increased speeding within the borough limits was discussed. Speed traps will be set up and the PA State Police will be doing random radar checks.
Due to complaints, ATV's and snowmobiles are not permitted on streets or sidewalks, this is a state law, not a borough law.
Borough Manager Walt Snavley reported on the street sweeping, water line problems being fixed, sewer lines being worked on.
SWCMA wants Snavley to contact the Fish and Game Commission to discuss the replacement of the ramp at Tidioute Boat Launch.

Yard Sale Days will be Saturday, May 24, in conjunction with the Wheels and Deals Car Show.
Due the resignation on Helen Perry as an Auditor, a replacement is needed, anyone interested in serving as a borough auditor in February 2015 should contact the borough office.
The minutes from the March meeting were approved as read, treasurer's report was accepted and permission was granted to pay the bills.
A meeting of the WWII Reenactment committee will meet on April 23 at the borough office.
A reminder that the curfew is 11 p.m.
