Flag donation

April 5, 2014
Rob Andersen , Times Observer

After New Hope Assistance Dogs, Inc., had its U.S. flag stolen right off the flag pole at their Scott Run kennels, Woodsmen of the World fraternal benefit, non-profit insurance agency, donated a new one. Sharon Yakich of the agency said they are second only to the federal government in donating flags to community organizations. New Hope trainers and board members display the flag prior to hoisting it. In front from left are Cinda Tarr, with Earl; Suzi Arzner, with Xeya; and Amy Bennett, with Kyra. In back from left are Laura Engle, Tammy Rogers, Barb Ruhlman, Ben Castro and Yakich. New Hope's mission is to provide highly skilled service dogs for children and adults with a variety of disabilities.
