The menu for the week will be: Monday, Hot turkey Open-faced sandwich, vegetable and pumpkin bars for dessert. Thursday, hot dogs and hamburgers, cowboy beans and potato salad and top it off with brownies. Friday's buffet features 'stuffed cabbage rolls', baked fish and fruit. The Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department will begin selling these T-Shirts to help defray the cost of its 52nd Fireman’s Festival. The t-shirts are navy with a maltese cross on the front and “I Support Sheffield VFD” on the back. Sizes available are adult small-3x, and child small-xlg. No matter what size you need, each T-Shirt is only $10. The shirts will be available at the SVFD Auxiliary Craft Show today, the Soup and Sub Sale on April 12, any Tuesday or Wednesday evening at the firehall, and, of course, at the Festival in August.
Music Dept. fundraiser
The SAMSHS recently held a fundraiser in coordination with Goodwill Industries. The students collected 2,105 pounds of clothes that were donated to Goodwill. Tuesday, try your 'Luck' at Seneca Allegany Casino for the day, still only $22 for the ride and the Casino will give you vouchers for $20 coin and $5 food, pick up at Center at 8:45 a.m. and Warren Shurfine Grocery 9 a.m. Wednesday will be shopping with friends in Warren with TAWC for errands and more. Thursday and Friday, come for lunch and conversation. The center will be at the Northwest Bank in Sheffield for 'Community Days,' selling some home-made Easter eggs. They will also have brochures on our trips from the Senior Center available, stop and pick one up we welcome all travelers.
Craft sale today
The Sheffield VFD Auxiliary will hold its Spring Craft Show today. All tables have been sold. Over 50 tables of crafts and goodies will be at the firehall in the Social Hall and Ambulance Bay. The show opens at 9 a.m. and runs to 3 p.m. and there is no admission fee. Refreshments are available. The following crafters will have their specialities on display:

Easter Egg Hunt
The Sheffield Lions Club will be holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12th at 10 AM. All kids are encouraged to come to Memorial Park and hunt for eggs and prizes will be awarded in various age groups.
Chicken biscuit dinner
The Hospitality Center will have a chicken and biscuit dinner on Tuesday, April 22, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. by donation. Takes outs are available.
The Sheffield Area Middle/High School girls softball team will hold a fundraiser chicken barbecue on Sunday at the Sheffield Lions Den from noon to 5 p.m. Chickens will be prepared by the Sheffield Rod & Gun Club and include half a chicken, baked potato, side, and a roll.
Tickets are $8 and can be purchased from any softball player or by calling Denise at 688-4908.
The Barnes Cemetery Association and the Sheffield Cemetery Association request that all winter decorations be removed from the cemetery by April 15.
