Monday fire

April 1, 2014
Times Observer

Volunteer firefighters from North Warren, Starbrick, Pleasant and Russell responded to a structure fire at 211 Follett Run Road at approximately 2:15 p.m. Monday. "Upon arrival, the basement and the first floor and the rear of the house were engulfed," said North Warren Chief Tim Reynolds, who noted that the fire started on the outside and burned in. He added that while the cause is still under investigation, "crews made a good stop. Damage (was) mainly limited to the rear of the house, basement, some of the first floor (and the) entire porch was destroyed." Reynolds said no one was injured and that the residents, who were home, exited the home safely.
