Warren Garden Club opened the 2014 season with a tureen salad luncheon at the Jefferson DeFrees Center on March 20. Suzette Berdine was hostess chairman. She and her committee decorated the tables with tulips, sprigs of pussy willows and forsythia surrounded by miniature Easter characters.
Louise Dyer, the 2014 president, began the program by introducing herself and the other officers: Susanne Barone, first vice-president; Pat Christy, second vice-president; Priscilla Breese, recording secretary; Dorothy McCarthy, treasurer; and Dottie Higgins, corresponding secretary.
"Let's Review" was the program topic. Pat Christy, yearbook editor and designer, reviewed the 2014 yearbook. She pointed out changes and important policies and stressed the importance for each committee chairman to keep an updated record of activities performed as a guide for the next chairman. She drew attention to the change in agenda format.
